Gospel Literature Outreach (GLO) is committed to growing mission-focused churches in Europe through:
- Evangelising through short-term mission teams and long-term residential work
- Establishing through planting local churches and strengthening existing ones
- Training and equipping people for mission at home and abroad, through Tilsley College and church-based training programmes
- Resourcing mission activity and providing tools for effective Christian service.
GLO has a passion for Europe and for the gospel. Europe is the only continent in the world where the church has been shrinking for the past half-century. Its spiritual needs are immense and it is a very difficult place in which to share the gospel. GLO is committed to reaching Europeans for Christ and seeing them discipled and established in the faith. This is done through short-term and residential teams. We also partner with sister-organisations to plant churches in the UK.
GLO trains for service through our training department. Tilsley College offers one-, two-, and three-year accredited courses. Locally-based training is provided through programmes such as Joshua, Learning to Lead and day-seminars. Working with others, we provide training in central and eastern Europe, and the gap-year programme, FirstServe.
GLO resources mission activity though generating finance, providing literature and other media, and giving strategic input, accountability and pastoral care.
GLO has been operating in Europe for 40 years and is part of a worldwide network of church planting and missions training ministries.
