The Christian Workers Relief Fund (CWRF) helps evangelists and Bible teachers (and their widows) who were commended by assemblies/churches to full-time work in this country and who have retired, are ill, bereaved or who have specific needs.
Gifts are sent in times of sickness or emergency and regularly to retirees who are in perceived need or who are chronically ill. Sympathetic consideration is given to many kinds of personal and family needs.
The CWRF is supported by gifts from churches and assemblies, trusts and individuals and by gift aid and legacies. The trustees represent most areas of the country.
During 2015 we were able to provide financial support to 39 couples and 29 widows and widowers. It is a real privilege to be able to give some support to those whose active service for the Lord has been affected by accident, illness or age.
Appreciation from those we help:
“I cannot put into words how much your gift means to me. Indeed, the Lord hears our
requests and answers in wonderful ways.”
“. . . so generous. The Lord has done so much over so many years and always when
most needed.”
“The gift has been put towards my garden walls being strengthened.”
“. . . able to replace a leaking conservatory with a proper room.”
